Uk garage punk rock band the Fades are back with a new EP - recorded over a weekend after a chance meeting with an old friend who was talking of conspiracy theories and dark forces out to get him.
The old friend was very animated and adamant that everyone must leave London immediately, expressing his thoughts as he ran towards the station and back out of the Fades' lives once again.
The EP is dedicated to 'Nigel'
"... it wouldn’t take much of a leap of faith to imagine this one making it onto one of those old Indie Top 20 vinyl that were the essential makeup of any self (dis)respecting teenager at the arse end of the eighties. 8/10" GodisintheTV
"It is arguably the best garage rock album since Songs for the Deaf. It is arguably the most entertaining guitar album since Mclusky Do Dallas and, in this writers opinion, it is only rivaled by Future of the Left’s new effort for the accolade of album of the decade… so far. 5/5" Louderthanwar.com
“The best thing to come out of Richmond since the Yardbirds” John Moore (The John Moore Rock n’ Roll Trio/Black Box Recorder/Jesus & Mary Chain)
